I downloaded the free version of Lotus Notes Designer 8.5.2 and have been having some problems displaying X Pages in the browser (See Post on 2/17).
I looked for a Fixpack and found FP1 and FP2. Now my problem is the installer won't work on my machine. I am running Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit w/6GB RAM.
I get a couple of errors when starting the install: One of the errors is 'The Lotus Domino Registry key does not specify the correct location of Domino. Please Check HKEY_Local_MACHINE\Software\Lotus\Domino\Path' That entry is NOT in the registry. Then I get 'Unable to find Lotus Notes Program files. Using default directory.' This appears twice followed by the license agreement, which I accept and then the Incremental Installer with Null in the first box and the second is blank. I change the location of the program files to Program Files (x86)\IBM\Lotus but it will not accept the workspace. It always shows NULL.
I know that I have mentioned two problems here and I do need an answer to both, but I thought I would try to install FP2 first to see if that fixes my problem but as you can see, I can't install the FP.
What can I do to get the FP installed or is there a newer Designer download available.
